THIS PRACTICE WAS BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MOST

Elevthera Wellness was founded in 2018 by Alecia Denillo, LPC, with a simple but powerful intention: to create a therapy space that felt less like a clinical transaction and more like a genuine partnership.

Over the years, that vision has grown into a practice of dedicated therapists who share the same core values - warmth, collaboration, authenticity, and a deep respect for each client's unique journey.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, rebuilding your sense of self, learning to set boundaries, or simply trying to figure out who you are on the other side of a big life change - you're in the right place.

There are two white chairs with a houndstooth pattern, a decorative bowl with spherical objects, a tissue box, and a remote control on the table. On the wall, there is a large round clock with a rustic design, surrounded by two tall black floor lamps. To the right, there is a sliding barn door made of wood.

WHAT DOES “ELEVTHERA” MEAN?

The name "Elevthera" comes from the Greek word ἐλευθερία, meaning liberty. Because that's what this work is really about, not fixing what's broken, but finding your way back to yourself.

Our logo brings this to life: Icarus wings - symbols of courage and rising beyond old limits - arching from a brain that's half-chaos and half-clarity. It's a reminder that transformation is possible. That the mind can move from confusion to calm, from stuck to empowered.

Therapy here isn't about "fixing" you. It's about creating a safe, compassionate space for your mind to breathe, untangle, and heal on your terms.

MEET ALECIA

Alecia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Elevthera Wellness.

If you've made it to this page, there's probably something you've been carrying around for a while -something that feels too heavy to keep managing alone. Maybe it's anxiety that won't quiet down, a pattern of putting everyone else first, or a quiet sense that you've drifted away from who you really are.

I know that feeling. And I've spent my career creating a space where people like you can finally set it down.

MY APPROACH: Therapy That Actually Fits You

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and supportive which means we don't just talk at you, we work with you. Therapy is tailored to your unique needs, goals, and pace. There's no rigid script, no one-size-fits-all homework, and no pressure to "get better" faster than feels natural.

What you will find is a balance of emotional processing and practical coping skills, held together with compassionate accountability. I want you to feel genuinely heard and I also want to gently help you move. Both things matter.

I Specialize In:

  • Anxiety, overthinking, and chronic stress

  • Self-esteem and confidence-building

  • Boundaries and people-pleasing patterns

  • Relationship dynamics and attachment

  • Life transitions and identity shifts

  • Authenticity, self-awareness, and sustainable growth

MY STORY: Why I Do This Work

I started Elevthera Wellness in 2018 with a clear intention: to build a practice rooted in real connection, not clinical distance. I noticed that so many people, especially young adults and those new to therapy, were desperate for a space where they didn't have to perform wellness to receive support.

I am passionate about helping people-pleasers build confidence and healthier boundaries. The overthinkers, the over-givers, and the ones who've spent too long making themselves smaller - you are exactly who I built this practice for.

The name "Elevthera" comes from the Greek word for liberty - because that's what this work is really about. Not fixing what's broken, but finding your way back to yourself.

WHAT PATIENTS ARE SAYING …

  • Alecia was my first experience with a therapist. And I seriously struck gold. I am so grateful I was matched with her, because she was exactly what I needed at the time and we worked together for over 2 years. She is very attentive and asks great questions. Insightful and remembers and reflects upon everything you say. She is receptive to what you need in the moment yet can also direct the sessions in a productive way. I 100 percent recommend her!

    — R.D., Patient

  • I highly recommend counseling with Alecia. I have been seeing her for three years and I have never felt closer to my authentic self. She is an extremely attentive listener who clearly wants to help you work towards your personal goals and values. She mindfully meets you where you are and helps you develop skills to navigate through struggles. I think the thing about Alecia that I am most grateful for is her patience - she has never rushed me through feelings or reoccurring issues and continues to give me the time and space to draw meaningful connections at my own pace. I have tried counseling with three other therapists, but never experienced the connection and growth that I have since working with Alecia. If you are on the fence about therapy, I would strongly encourage you to try meeting with Alecia! She is an excellent therapist.

    — E.Q., Patient of 3 years

  • Calming and relaxing environment! Alecia made me feel relaxed and comfortable right from the start. There is no judgment! She listens to every word I say no matter what. She has really helped me make progress towards a more happier and healthy life mentally and physically! I couldn't be happier that I found her!

    — T.M., Patient

  • Alecia has been absolutely wonderful since I've started seeing her. She's insightful, knowledgeable, compassionate, and professional. She has provided me with insight that I have not received from many other LPCs and continues to help me find my way. I'm so grateful that I found her!

    — K.L., Patient

  • I am so thankful a friend recommended Alecia to me! After several years of trying to be Superwoman and just 'push through' the hardships of life alone, I finally feel like I have the support I've been looking for all along. Alecia exhibits the perfect combination of professionalism mixed with compassion and genuineness. I appreciate the way Alecia thinks before she speaks, showing her desire to share clear and concise thoughts. Alecia has provided me with different outlooks on life and has shared a variety of reading materials that are relatable to my personal life. I would highly recommend Alecia to anyone who is looking for an LPC who is down to earth, relatable, and insightful.

    — K.B., Patient

  • Alecia is great! She continues to help and encourages me to work through to the solution. I enjoy my time with her and look forward to the things I can learn.

    — J.H., Patient

  • After 2 years with my first counselor I decided it wasn't working and was skeptical of trying to find another. Luckily I found Alecia and she has opened my eyes to a whole new way of thinking and helps me address things I may not realize are holding me back. She also has a way of knowing what I am trying to say even when I struggle to find the words myself. Overall Alecia is a perfect fit for what my needs were. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is thinking of counseling for the first time or looking to change things up if you're feeling stuck.

    — C.M., Patient

  • Alecia is a fantastic counselor. She helps guide me through life without pushing certain thoughts or concepts. She encourages you to open your mind and solve problems using your own thoughts by looking at things differently. Her approaches are extremely helpful, and she's a great listener not only to what you say but also what you are trying to say when you can't find the words. The atmosphere during visits is very laid back and calm, I feel at home. Alecia is also very flexible and understanding with scheduling. Overall, Alecia is amazing and I would definitely recommend her!
